Our talented photographers offer a variety of styles and approaches. Located in Montana, San Francisco and Tampa, we travel throughout the country and around the world to photograph destination weddings.

 

We make the photographic aspect of your wedding easy. You select the photographer whose work you most enjoy and we work together to create a package specifically for your needs.

 

Photography is my passion. It is intuitive to me. When I'm working, I see the beauty and emotion of people's shared connections, and capturing those moments on film comes naturally to me. Being a part of creating family histories for others brings me back to memories of my own family. That's why taking beautiful photographs of profound moments in people's lives really matters. When someone asks me to photograph their wedding, I am honored to be a part of and to be responsible for the documentation of one of the most momentous days in their lives.

 

Melanie earned her BFA & MFA in photography and was named one of America's top 15 wedding photographers by PDN. Her work has appeared in Real Simple Weddings, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, PDN, The Knot, and many other publications. She has taught photography workshops for aspiring photographers around the world and to local school-age children. Melanie is an avid supporter of the arts and several local organizations. She enjoys spending as much time as possible at home in Montana and traveling with her family and friends.

I know that a wedding is a story of emotions; passion, love, joy, reverence and grace. I use these emotions as a palette for my photography. By effectively capturing the mood and the setting in my pictures, I am able to provide a backdrop to these emotions that helps complete the story.

 

I enjoy the playfulness and spontaneity of weddings, often capturing moments that would have otherwise gone unnoticed as well as details that might have been forgotten. My instincts and technical knowledge combine to create results that are both artful and timeless.

While I was growing up, I was constantly around photography because of my mother. I started going with my mom to weddings to help take pictures when I was seven years old, and by the time I was ten, I was being depended on for good photos. I realized that photography was something I loved and wanted to do as a profession. I accompanied my mom on many weddings as a second shooter, and have since booked many of my own weddings. I have developed an eye for little details and candid moments.

 

My work has appeared on the cover of The Montana Wedding Guide and TheKnot.com.

 

Half of all my proceeds go to my college savings account.

Holly, Sophie, and I approach each wedding as a team. Because two of us work together at each wedding, we are able to capture important moments that may happen simultaneously, and also offer two unique perspectives of your wedding day. We like to work with the bride and groom to transfer their vision into beautiful, emotional and meaningful photographs.

So many of life's most precious moments are fleeting and it has long been my passion to capture these in photographs. I carry this passion over to weddings where it is a joy to photograph people living life and celebrating love.
