Hi, this is Melanie Nashan with Nashan Photographers. My associates and I are based out of Montana, Florida and California and love taking wedding and portrait photographs for our clients. We have photographed weddings all over the world and customize our packages specifically for each client.

Please take some time and look at our ‘artists’ page to see some of our online portfolios and then our ‘your event’ page to look at some of the more recent work we have done. We specialize in capturing candid, artistic moments of you and your families during all stages of your lives including weddings, family gatherings, holiday photos, senior portraits, maternity shoots and baby portraits.

This August, we are excited to be offering a wedding photography camp. Read all about it here.

Feel free to call me with any questions that you might have or to set up a meeting. You can keep informed by receiving our blog entries by signing up for a RSS feed or subscribing for an email notification every time we make an entry.

The Maxwell Portraits

Marian and Matt are two of my favorite clients ever. I photographed
their wedding in Carmel in 2001 and have been photographing their
family ever since. This was an interesting photo shoot for a couple of
reasons, primarily because Avery, their eldest, just started opening up
and being herself in front of the camera. When we would walk from one
location to another she would hold my hand or want to walk with Barbel
who was assisting me. Eden was full of spunk and anxious to always keep
up with her older sister.

Here are a few of my favorite photos. We took them while we were both in Whitefish Montana for separate weddings.

Barbel was doing crazy things behind me to make the girls laugh. I just love all of the joy that is in their facial expressions.

This was so sweet. We didn't have the girls' goggles and little Eden wanted a pair. So instead she asks Matt, "Daddy can you cover your eyes with your hands?' He does and she dunks her head under water as if his hand will protect her eyes. Evidenlty his hand did because she came out all smiles.

Towards the end of our photo session
Matt took my camera and took this photo of me. Now I get to help him on
one of his heart surgeries!!
