Hi, this is Melanie Nashan with Nashan Photographers. My associates and I are based out of Montana, Florida and California and love taking wedding and portrait photographs for our clients. We have photographed weddings all over the world and customize our packages specifically for each client.

Please take some time and look at our ‘artists’ page to see some of our online portfolios and then our ‘your event’ page to look at some of the more recent work we have done. We specialize in capturing candid, artistic moments of you and your families during all stages of your lives including weddings, family gatherings, holiday photos, senior portraits, maternity shoots and baby portraits.

This August, we are excited to be offering a wedding photography camp. Read all about it here.

Feel free to call me with any questions that you might have or to set up a meeting. You can keep informed by receiving our blog entries by signing up for a RSS feed or subscribing for an email notification every time we make an entry.

Rachel and Eric got married in Sheridan Wyoming. A few days prior they flew out to Livingston and we did this great photo session at the Livingston airport. (I have lived in Livingston for 13 years and have never been there. It has some of the best views in town!)

Michele Prevost from Juniper - Events/Wine&Spirits was the coordinator for the wedding and the reception was held at the Powder Horn. michele@juniperevent.com

One of my favorite shots at almost every wedding I shoot is the photo of the recessional right when the bride walks past me and is bathed in this beautiful light.

Before the wedding they exchanged gifts. As a wedding photographer you get to witness so many intimate moments, capturing them with my camera is one of the things I love to do for people.

Making group shots of the wedding party that are fun and spontaneous is always a challenge but I really am happy with the ways these have turned out and I think the sun peaking through the trees adds a great detail.

The receiving line is more interesting when I capture it with my IR camera.

Rachel and Eric had a travel theme for their wedding. On each of the tables Michelle had her designer create transparencies that highlighted some of their favorite places.

Eric is in the Marines. My first military wedding. They both have chosen careers in public service and I am grateful for young people like them who dedicate their lives to making our country a safer place to live in.

Don't you just love her dress?

Now here are my favorites from the wedding. I think of Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca on the tarmac.

Then my favorite shot of the e-session and the same photo on their wedding day. Thank you Bill for bringing your plane out on your daughter's wedding day. I think the photos are a perfect match for the travel theme of the wedding.

Rachel and Eric, thank you for having me be your photographer. It was so much fun working with the two of you. Your spontaneity and playfulness made my job so much easier.
