We specialize in capturing candid, artistic moments of you and your families during all stages of your lives including weddings, family gatherings, holiday photos, senior portraits, maternity shoots and baby portraits.

This August, we are excited to be offering a wedding photography camp. Read all about it here.

Hand Me Down Some Silver Fundraiser

Jenni & Jake Fleming have been working on a wonderful project to help support the progress of some wonderfully talented young musicians. Hand Me Down Some Silver, Inc. is a not for profit organization and they held their fundraiser on Saturday night at the Gallating Gateway Inn.

Leslie Lukas did a wonderful job on the event, making everything look beautiful including the flowers.

Jeni called and asked if my daughter Keegan would be available to photograph the event. With much help by Leslie Lukas and Jeni we figured out a way to get her there and pick her up. (She does not have her driver's license.)

The black tie event went wonderfully and seemed to raise a signifigant amount of money for a great cause. When I walked in towards the end of the evening there were several of the young musicians walking around and enjoying themselves. They were so confident and self assured in a very formal atmosphere.

Anyway, here are some of my favorite photos that Keegan took during the evening. (I do have to admit I packed Keegan's photo bag for her and made the mistake of giving her two of the same lense. So she was limited to a very narrow point of view. When I first found out about it I thought I had inadvertently set her up for failure. Luckily I think she pulled it off.)

Melanie...thank you for covering this on your blog. The event is such an important fundraiser for these kids! Keegan was delightful, and I was fluttering around as usual, so I hope that I gave her some good time!!! She is such a lady and pro, and we can't thank her enough for being there, and you getting her there! She is so grown up! Means I am getting old! I can't wait to use some of her photographs on my new website. I think I have also pinned down the main page photo to a photograph of yours....I will have to run it by you first of course! I can't wait to get together...your work has been absoultuely fresh and amazing lately. I love some of the new angles and perspectives you are taking on some classics. LOVE YA! LL
