Martin Portraits and Shields Valley

Last year I photographed Meghan and Will's wedding at her aunt's ranch in Shields Valley. I went back to the ranch yesterday to do some photos of their whole family. Since then Kirsten and Jordan had eloped and Debbie really wanted some photos of the two of them.

I enjoyed myself so much catching up on things and seeing the ranch again. My mind kept flipping back to the wedding day and how everything was dressed out.

Anyway, here are some of my favorite shots of the day and one shot of the moon rising on my way home. I think Dan had asked me if I loved living in Montana and I hesitated with my answer. There are so many things I love about Montana including all of my lovely friends, the peace and quiet, and the amazing beauty that sometimes just hits me so hard that I have to stop and photograph it. I am NOT a nature photographer but I LOVE this image. There are two things I don't like about Montana, one is that the landscape is either brown or white for eight long months and the other is that there is no ocean anywhere near us....but the positives outweigh the negatives or I would be somewhere else.

Bolen/Stirling Wedding At new Smyrna Beach by Cindy & Holly

Jack and Tina were married on October 6th in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The bride is a good friend of Holly’s sister, Julie, and the couple was married by Julie’s husband, David, at his family’s beach house. What a happy and beautiful day! The weather had been a big concern, but the sun was shining. Laughter and joy definitely ruled the day. We wish Jack and Tina a lifetime of happiness and are honored they chose us to photograph their wedding.

Portraits of friends and us....

I finally got to take some portraits of friends. We have been trying to do this for years and finally put aside a few minutes to take some photos. Keegan and I did the portraits together and she got some images that I liked better than the ones I took. Here are a couple of my favorites, the second one is Keegan's image.
