Maura and Andrew's E Photos....WHAT FUN!!

Maura and Andrew came all the way from Jackson Hole, WY to Livingston, MT do this engagement portrait session. Maura really loves horses, and wanted some portraits with them included.
Andrew was a great sport, he and I are not very comfortable with horses and I managed to convince Andrew to get on the horse BAREBACK. I think he looks like he is so VERY comfortable. (If only you were there, photographs are decieving.)

Then came the cow photos. My husband and I have a heard of three, yes three cows. I was taking Maura and Andrew's photo in this beautiful light, and then came our cows. You can't get more western than horses and cows. The mama cow in the foreground kept getting closer and closer, evidently she wanted to be the subject of the photo.

We wandered into the aspen grove and I captured this moment...I love the connection betweent the two of them....
As we walked back I thought I was done, but as we walked by the barn I had to do one more set of photos and here is one of my favorites!
I try and have fun on every job that I do and I have to say this was one of my favorite portrait sessions, even though Jake, the one horse would not cooperate!
