Kathleen and Craig's Wedding

Kathleen and Craig's wedding was unique in many ways. First off her dress was designed by Nicole Miller that I think it was fabulous. Craig is a metalsmith and made the cupcake stand and many of the other things that were on the property including a HUGE slide and several weatherveins. There were antique motorcycles on the property that told people where to park with signs that Craig had forged.
When I first walked into their home I was walking up the steps to Kathleen's room and noticed the wonderful light flooding the stairway where this chalkboard full of personal messages was hanging. I was hoping that I could take some photo of someone in that light sometime during the day. Later on I was walking up the steps and "Tiny" was writing a message on the board, I quickly changed lenses and was able to capture this candid moment while she was writing. Then a couple of seconds later she heard the camera and turned around and I love the frontal portrait just as much!
After the ceremony Craig, Kathleen, Chieko (my associate) and I found some beautiful light to take some more portraits in. We had a good time playing around getting these portraits that I think came out lovley. Kathleen has a great body and her dress just showed it off perfectly!!!
This was also the first time that I shot any infrared images. I think the images came out really beautifully. Here are a few of my favorites from the wedding. The rest of the images will be on the web in about 10 days or so.
