Tennesse Welcome Party

Mariah and Alex's wedding celebration started a couple of days before the wedding day. I photographed the bridal luncheon and the welcome party. Mariah had a nice twist on the luncheon which included having all of the women help do some of the decorating. She owns a paper shop in Tennessee and found this wonderful paper that she used to cover the lanterns on the centerpieces of each of the tables. During the luncheon she was cutting the paper while her family and friends wrapped the lanterns, put the numbers on and tied ribbon over the paper. Others decorated the family barn with gourds and pumpkins that her brother has grown on his farm.

Later in the afternoon family and friends, and myself, enjoyed some skeet shooting over the lake. Afterwards many of the wedding guests came to a bar-b-que which Scottie, Mariah's dad cooked all of the delicious meat! Everyone was relaxed and having a wonderful time. Here are a few photos.
