Ram/Holt Wedding in NY

I just got back from New York to photograph Hillary and Ethan's wedding. I had photographed Ethan's sister's husband's (follow that relation!!!!) cousin in Bozeman last year and they recommended me. I chose a few photographs that I think are indicative of the feeling of the wedding. The cathedral is absolutely gorgeous. Father Jim insisted that I honor some requests that limited my perspective but I still thing there are some beautiful images of the ceremony.

Just after the wedding we rushed outside to do some portraits of Hillary, Ethan and the wedding party because the light was fading fast. We got several really sweet photos in the middle of 5th Avenue which I love.

Back at the Colony Club I found this great red couch that matched the soles of Hillary's shoes and we did some wonderful portraits of the two of them on that. By this time everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the portrait of Hillary by herself sitting on the coush looking at the camera. I think it tells a lot about her personality and is just beautiful!!

Hillary, her mom, and friends and family made me completely comfortable and I thank them all for taking the time to make sure that I had everything I needed. They put me up at the Colony Club which was perfect because I was able to shoot some photos of the girls getting ready before I was supposed to start and to take some photos of the dress the day after the wedding since it was not available on the day of the wedding.

Thank you Hillay and Ethan for choosing me to photograph your wedding. I feel very honored that you chose to have me come all the way from Montana to be with you on your most important and lovely day!

Hillary
